Default Ummm...Zones??? Grinding???

Hey umm...I haven't got the game yet...plannin' on getting it tomorrow after school, but um...I was wondering. I been readin a whole lot of threads and I was just wondering what grinding xp and the zones on this game were all about. I've played other MMORPG's, but not really that much, so I haven't really learned the terminology, so if you guys can explain these to me....thanks.

What I meant was that that was where you should have asked the question instead of making a new thread.

Grinding is doing the same thing over and over again. In this context i means doing boring things for a long time just to increase your level.

Zones are the places in the game that are seperated by loading screens.

blarb...well okay i understand districts now, but what about these here zones....still not getting it...are they like when you go from one place, for example (and im making this up). Like, if you go from Bob's House, you get to a certain point, a loading screen comes up, or text at the top of the screen appears and it says something like, "You've entered Barren Hills" or something like that????

zones are basically maps. The reference to zoning is going from one area(map) to another. Districts or gather areas is where you group up with people to go out on an adventure, once you zone out you have the area to yourself or with your group.

so theres no possible way when you are zoned out that you can see another group or party of people? basically what im getting from you is like if you go on a quest or something with a party, and you go where you need to go, the game creates a special copy of the zone for you that only you and your group can enter. am i right or wrong?

You are right, you wont see anyone else, other than the people you bring along.
